Thursday, November 07, 2002ThoughtThe CW seems to be that the Democrats lost because they didn't challenge Bush strongly enough on the big issues, i.e., the war and the economy; in other words they were too centrist. The idea that they need to move left seems to be gaining momentum. If this happens, they're done. Does anyone honestly believe that they would have won if they ran a more leftist platform?
