Wednesday, November 27, 2002Re: On the road againA correction to this posting from the first week of Dartlog's existance:Stinson's own "Baltimore Jack" -- recently returned from the Trail -- pointed out tonight over drinks that he is not, as was previously reported, a graduate of Baltimore's Johns Hopkins University. He claims that his trail name (appelations given to all through-hikers by their peers) is from a Bruce Springsteen song ("Hungry Heart" from the album The River; the song opens with the lyrics "Got a wife and kids down in Baltimore, Jack / I went out for a ride, and I never came back").Dartlog: we take our accuracy seriously. Dartlog ToolsHanover NewsDartmouth LinksNota BeneArticles of note—culled from the Internet by TDR. A hyperrealist's defense? Thanksgiving: Adam Kirsch landed on his feet. Grim. How important is the libretto? Nothing thrills a classical music crowd more than a new piece of music that doesn't make them physically ill. Dartmouth BlogsFavorites
